    How's it going?

Does anyone know if it's poss. (using PHP, Javascript, or something) to remove the footer's and header's found in the (file) page_setup menu of internet explorer, on behalf of the user. So that they don't have to go into the page_setup and do it themselves?

i.e. I'd like to remove the following:

    Header:
    &w&bPage &p of &P

    Footer:
    &u&b&d

...so that when I do a printout I don't get these headers and footers.

    Thanks, if you can help....!!!

    Regards,

    Jason

If this is possible (and I have no idea if it is - personally I doubt it) it will be via a client side scripting language such as vBscript. It will definitely not utilise any server side languages such as PHP or ASP - since these run on the server the only way they can affect the client is by sending it instructions within the outputted HTML.

You'd be much better off asking about this on the Client Side Scripting forum.
