    Hi,
I am kinda new to mySQL, so I was wondering, which is more efficient/less server stress/etc: Lots of different tables within one database, or lots of databases with fewer tables? Does it make a difference? Thanks a lot in advance.

In even very complicated database driven applications you shouldn't need that many tables - logically it makes sense to keep all of the tables for a single application in the same database (that makes backing things up / keeping track of things much easier). Also keeping stuff in the database helps faciliate joining tables together.
