    Greetings,

I am beginning a major revamp of my site. One of the features I want to add is one found both on this forum, and on the SitePoint.com site itself.

The directory tree at the top of the page that shows you the Page/Directory/Subsection that you are currently in. (For Instance, the tree on this page currently shows: SitePoint Community Forums > Build your Site > Web Page Design)

Obviously I could hand code it into each page, but that seems a bit archiac to me. I have a feeling it could be done with CGI, which is how I would like to do it. Can someone point me in the right direction as far as a script that would do this for me? I did some browsing at the CGI Index, but I couldn't track one down.

    Many thanks!

I don't know about CGI but I know that it can be done with PHP.

    Greetings,

Many thanks for the response. Only one small problem: I am a neophyte when it comes to PHP. Does anyone know a Perl script that does it?

    Greetings,

Yes I have. Primarily http://cgi.resourceindex.com/ . I have had no luck. BUT, and this is most likely the problem, I'm not exactly sure what keywords to use. I refer to it as a directory tree, but I really don't know what it's called.

    Greetings,

I finally stumbled upon what I was looking for. For anyone else who may be looking for a CGI that performs this task, you can find it here:
