    Database specific SQL syntax?

Just wonders if there exists some database specific SQL syntaxes. Since I've already implemented PEAR's database abstraction layer in my project, it would be A SHAME if I used SQL queries with specific syntaxes.

You don't happen to have a list of all databases and their specific syntaxes?

That would pretty much be the manuals of ALL databases and would look something like an unabridged dictionary... or 'War and Peace'.
