    Hi,

Interested to know your thoughts on http://www.adictive.com looks very interesting - and in line with how I think the market should go.

    Your thoughts?

With the market as it is its weird that another agency would pop-up. Couple things I noticed about them.

    1. Based in England (could be good for some)

    2. 30% Commision (beats burst)

    3. You can cancel at any time (which is nice freedom)

    4. Its a non-exclusive contract (again nice freedom)

Comparatively Burst charges 50% commision for its non-exclusive contract. Luna's contract term is 2 years min and is exclusive.

I saw some things that I didn't like: one of the "fine print" things said that they were in no way responsible for the advertising web site meeting any usability standards. What this means is that if I wanted to pay to advertise with them, they could put my ad on a really horrible site that I absolutely hated, and their response would be "Oh well". I don't know what kind of retention that would engender. i didn't like the fact that I could not get any info about much of anything without registering, and the privacy policy was not posted before the registration..... I never give out my info if I don't know where its going or what can be done with it.... Just look into the caveats, be careful,, know what you'd be getting into.

Interesting...looks a lot like TribalFusion (which is also new), in that buyers are encouraged to select exactly those categories and/or individual sites on which to run their campaigns.

The lack of a privacy policy is concerning, but it does seem worthwhile of investigation by those who are looking to supplement their ad revenue with a test source of default (or primary) banners.

Does anyone here already use them?

Bummer. Upon attempting to sign up (as this information isn't presented within their FAQ or seller info), I found out that they only accept web publishers who are based within the UK.

In any case, they do look promising.

Just signed up, had a look around and I must say it looks preety good (especially for UK sites as myself).

I noticed quite a few high profile UK sites on there so it may be ok.

I like the way it is all split into sections, so that buyers can get inventory on really targetted pages, and also the fact that you define your own rates - CPM or CPC.

Are there any other networks that do this???

I've recently added a section dedicated to media marketplaces such as this to Net-Ads.

You can read about ADictive, and a few others, here:
