Can I code hyperlinks in an iframe that don't open up in the iframe?

I have an iframe coded on a page. I want to insert links in the content of the iframe that open up other pages NOT inside the iframe. Is there a way? I don't want to set it to "blank" because I don't want visitors ending up with excessive windows opening all over the place. I want to open the web page I've linked to in it. Right now the entire page linked opens up in the iframe.

You can always open the links in the place where you target them, if you would like to open inside the iframe set target="_self", another window target="_blank" or in the site target="_parent".. try them and check things again.
