    I have a website with over 4000 pages that are SE-friendly. I want to know if there's anyway to speed up the indexing process. I really need to boost traffic.

    Thanks.

    Quickest way into the engines is a combination of directory listings with ODP and Yahoo to get Google spidering and the Paid Submissions program from Inktomi. This will get you onto Google a few weeks after your directory listing is up and running. With Inktomi you can have a page in MSN and other Ink partners within 3-4 days but it costs $10 per page.

    Otherwise, relevant links from other sites and a steady add url drip feed will help. Ensure your pages are linked together with text links rather than anything fancy as the spiders find these easier to crawl through.

    The other option is GoTo where you can get traffic in a week by bidding on your keywords.

    You might want to try adding this to your site's meta tags:

    <META NAME="REVISIT" CONTENT="7 days">

    The meta Revisit tag is for caching servers not SE spiders. It instructs servers to take another look at the site after the specified interval. Spiders can't be encouraged to crawl faster unless they're like Inktomi on the paid submissions.

    I pay ProBoost a fee to submit my pages to those SEs.

    The submission service really helps, but it only does submission once a month.
