BerkleyDB. It's file-based, but still quite easy to work with.

an uzi
if i couldn't use a database server such as mysql or oracle, i would kill myself, and take a few others with me, for surely the world would be on the brink of destruction anyway
oops, did i just say that out loud?
if i couldn't use a database server, i would use access
a ha ha ha ha ha !!
okay, if you want to classify access in with database servers (i would too), then seriously, i would use an odbc driver for excel, and use sql anyway
sql rules

I've recently been turned to Firebird DB, any comments about that database? I did search sitepoint, however there has only been 14 posts, which mention it, and they're about 2 years old? I currently have it enabled on the server (as of today) and would be interested in using it as the admin mentioned it was faster than SQL Server & MySQL when he ran the same queries.Originally Posted by r937
