    Err........ What do you precisely mean by 'centering' with frames + layers?
    My 2 Cents (or is that 2.2 Cents including GST?)

    you can use a table and everything in your fram will be centered.

    Code:
    <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
      <tr>
        <td align="center">your text or whatever goes here</td>
      </tr>
    </table>
    I will Tell you what is wrong with your website and maybe what you can do to make it better.

    Hi BC
    I usually use NOF 5 and I simply select "center in browser" when i,ve finished a site. I am playing around with dreamweaver 4 and have done a site for a customer.
    http://website.lineone.net/~allibaby/ Ignore the logo, the guy is having one designed, i just put that in to get a feel for where it was going.
    I am now worried that when viewed in a higher res it will look odd because it won't let me center it. I assume it won't because i used layers and as i understand it layers stay exactly where you put them.
    BTW this is the last time I use dreamweaver. It's not a patch NOF 5
