    Hi everyone,

    I'm trying to implement a pop-up window on my site for people to vote for the site in a design competition I have entered. I have no problem poping the window up when the page loads but the pop-up contains a link to the voting site. When you click this link, the voting site loads in the small window I have popped up. Is there any way to force the link to open the voting page onto the parent window? I would be really grateful if any of you could check it out and maybe suggest a solution cos it's driving me mad. To see exactly what I'm talking about you can visit http://www.irishstudentnet.com

    Thanks for your help,

    Anthony.

    You can use this script inside your popup window

    Code:
    <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
    <!-- hide
    function goThere(newURL) {
    	opener.document.location = newURL;
    	}

    // --->
    </SCRIPT>
    Then make your links with this:
    Code:
    <a href="javascript:goThere('/pageyouneed.html')">

    Thanks cckrocks,

    I figured there must be someway to do it in Javascript but hadn't a clue how to write it. Much appreciated.
