update excel spreadsheet from online .csv

Firstly, I dont know if this is the right forum, but its a good place to start!

I have an page on my website that creates a csv file from a recordset.

How can I get an excel spreadsheet on a local machine to update on opening, from the online csv?

Use some custom VBA code, triggered by the appropriate event (e.g. "document_onload").

excel has a nifty data import feature - web queries. tell it the page, select the element and it updates itself every time you open it! Voila
