I can't critique on anything really seeing as its mostly a phpBB design. Your stats sound promicing.

The logo looked a bit out of place and looks like it was scaled by the browser.

Nice, easy to read design. I did not realize a successful forum would use that much bandwidth.

A very dodgey subject. For instance wheres the Atheist forum to give the alternative view. This has to be a dusccusion topic in any such forum surley

    Nice site though

I like the site, but the logo on the top left of the page needs to be integrated a little better.

I am no photoshop expert so that was the best I could do. I know it's pathetic.

As far as an Athiest forum we go on user support for more forums. If there are no athiests on the boards yet why have the forum but when we get athiests the forum will be created. This is stated on the boards.

I do like the structure of the forums, where religious topics can be discussed by belief system as well as a section for all to have input. I also really like that so many religions are included and you are open to any others. Usually Religion = Christianity in my experience. Good job on making a truly multi-cultural site!

    Thumbs down site down??

    Mozilla 1.5 WinXP Cable

All i get is a white page?? After typing /parkweb behind your URL it took me to the forum. As far as i can tell it is a standard form as seen many times before. Nothing special, clean and simpel (which is not a bad thing though)

    1024x768 , WinXP pro, 128kb/s, IE6.0 Opera7.23.

I agree with mstwntd, not much to observe because of the standard form of forums. But still here are some things:

    The loading was quick.
The Displaying is good on both browsers.
The color scheme is pleasant, the header and logo look nice too.
The Navigation is clear and easy.

The only thing that I'd change is: moving all windows from the right side of the page to the bottom or in the upper part. It looks better imho.

    Best Whishes.

Actually Ithink that is quite a professional looking logo.
I would make it larger and loose the GIANT ReligiousForums.com. That makes it look cheap and unprofessional.

You scroll bar is quite hard to see.

Other than that, as mentioned above there is not much to review on a standard BBS template

    rex_b,

As far as SEO all I would recommend is you add in meta tags and description (although apparently most search engines ignore them). Also after your title "Religious Forums Forum Index" add in a nice paragraph or two describing the forums using the "religious" keyword almost in every sentence.

I think the logo looks alright, but you really need to make the botom text "A religion discussion forum" more legible because at the moment it's just too small.

    Good luck

It's great that you've got so many hits in only a month.

The PHPBB portal looks good, although it's the same as every other thousand portal script, so nothing really too special.

One thing I would say, the main logo is fine, but once it's finished you get blue. which doesn't really contrast to the logo itself. Also I would say the REGISTER HERE banner at the top doesn't look paticurlary professional.

Sorry to be so negative, but it's really hard to comment on PHPBB boards as they're all really the same. I just say what I can.

the white logo background clashes with the blue gradient. eithe use a logo with the gradient in the background, or get rid of the blue

I like it...agree with other comments about logo being a bit scaled or something.
