Let's say I have a huge PHP program, and in order for a user to use it, they must go through a disclaimer page. I will have to use cookies right?

My question is, since I have never played with them, how are they set, called, etc. I have a pretty good idea, but I'm not sure. Can I make it so it times out when they leave my website?

Sorry to bother you great people again, but...

If the bookmarked a page, then came back to it, how could I have the disclaimer page come up, they agree, then put them where they wanted to go in the first place? That way the bookmarks will work in a way...

Alright, here's a shameless self plug...

I wrote a small tutorial on using cookies in PHP here:
    http://www.mycoding.com/tutorials.php?id=5

You wouldn't believe the response I'm getting on it - apparently a lot of people wanted something simple to help them tackle cookies.

I'm still learning about sessions myself, so I can't say whether or not they would make the most sense here.
