    CSS and PHP issue

    back with another problem. I've created a header file that I attach to all my scripts. I'm trying to use a style tag to set the font features so that it gets passed to the scripts that include the header file. The only problem is that it ain workin...

    Here's the upper part of the header file.

    <HTML>
    <title><?php echo $page_title; ?></title>
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
    <STYLE>
    <!--
    A:active { color:#0000FF; text-decoration; }
    A:hover { color:#FF0000; }
    .form { font-size: 10px; color=#666666; }
    p {color: black; font-family: arial; font-size: 10pt;}

    //-->
    </STYLE>
    </head>

    <body bgcolor="#FFFFFF" >

    should i be using the p tag like that? How would i write it so that i dont even have to use the p tag and it would apply to all the text throught the pages? Is it possible?

    Just a quick question on this....

    Why don't you setup an external .css file and call on it rather than bulking up the code?

    Right now i'm just doing it to test, so i wasnt thinking the end result yet. Once i get it setup the way i want, i'll cut it an put it into a external .css
