    Hey there,

Anyone else not seeing any sales yet for May? Last month was great for me....I made the most money I ever have from the Internet in one month...This month so far, I've literally made $0.00000000000,

    Anyone else relating?

    Thanks.

High-end of my norm per day so far, with less advertising than normal (Searchfeed promoting another site, so only Google on my main).

Advertising revenue (if that is what you were referring to) is typically the lowest at the beginning of the month and the highest at the end of the month.

I usually spend $750-1000 in the first half of the month, and maybe $200-300 in the second half, on advertising. After the initial big spend at the beginning of the month I hold myself back some....

My google programs have been doing much better in these first few days when compared to the end of April.

It seems to make sense to me that advertising budges would be greater at the beginning of the month and then either dry up or just slow down towards the end.

Most big advertisers (people not in this thread) have regular monthly budgets. Also campaigns tend to end at the end of a month. Maybe not every month, but if it'll end sometime it'll end at the end of the month. Also many companies, such as Dell, ramp up their advertising on monthly cycles, or quarterly cycles.

The end result is on the last day of any month campaigns end. Those campaigns might take a week to be renewed, or they might not be renewed at all. So the beginning of the month is usually a little slow until things roll over.

Now the end of the month can be higher because advertisers often either have cash left over and want to spend it, or they want to get as much sales as possible to meet some sort of quote, or they want to get as much sales as possible to make their monthly, quarterly, or annual sales years look better.

Now traditional quarter ends (end of march, end of june, end of september) are going to have these same things happening to a larger scale. But not all companies use a standard calendar, Dell is one, so any company could have a quarter or year ending at any month end.

By far though the largest example of this is the end of the year. Late december will often see plentiful advertising, but Christmas can skew this. Early January will usually see very slow advertising, because many companies are "reloading" for the new year.

    Understand?

My advertising revenue has been much lower in this first week of May compared to end of April. Hopefully it will pick up soon...
