    Brian,

    Maybe if you posted a link to your website we could help you better. This is a pretty typical problem, the majority of time it is caused by a wrong path or images not being uploaded. Give us your URL and we'll try to help you better!

    Okay
    There are many possible reasons.

    I'll list a few,
    1) Your Images were not Uploaded in Binary Mode ( text files should be in ASCII mode )
    2) You said you published the index.html file to the web by cuteftp. Did you upload the images too? =)
    3) There could be a problem with the image linking. Please show us the code to verify that problem.

    ok,
    my site is UNDER CONSTRUCTION n i uploaded it on a FREE service , just to check how it will be on the web. The real domain when i'll finish building it will be areacool.com

    http://areacool.virtualave.net/areacool/

    i think i know my problem now (thankx to lynlimz ). I didn't upload my images. But even if i uploaded my images, it would change path. Won't there be a path problem afterwards ??

    Okay. This is the best solution to verify all your paths are correct.

    use the <base href=""> tag

    so on your computer, for example your wbe site is located on:
    c:\web\index.html
    and all your images are at:
    c:\web\images

    you will add a tag to your index.html file, between your:
    <head></head> tags

    so it'll be something like
    <head>
    <title>your web site</title>
    <base href="">
    </head>

    notice that the value for the href is nothing? ( "" )
    the reaosn being, if you want to view your index.hmtl file on your computer, the browser will search for your files based on that address! like you link to an image at this directory images/file.gif. and your <base href="http://domain.com/folder/folder2/folder3/">

    the browser will look for the images/file.gif at:
    http://domain.com/folder/folder2/fol...mages/file.gif

    ( i hope you get an idea so far )
    if i'm correct, this is known as relative linking ( or absolute argh )

    it applies to any files etc. that you link from your page.

    CONCLUSION:
    what you should do is add a <base href=""> tag. add the value of href="" when you want to upload to your server.
    when linking to images, files etc.
    make sure you have your links after the folder you're uploading the index.html file to.

    in your case ( its after http://areacool.virtualave.net/areacool/ )
    so if you're linking to tutorial/page.html
    your base tag should be:

    <base href="http://areacool.virtualave.net/areacool/">
    and the link be:
    <a href="tutorial/page.html">

    I believe I'm bad at explaining things..so if you need me to do it for you and you see the results yourself, just pop me a message. =)

    All the best.

    I checked the location of one of your images and got a 404. Did you actually upload the graphics?
