    First PHP virus found

    The first virus to use PHP scripting language to infect computers has been identified by anti-virus security firm Central Command.

    There hadd been quite a few articles about this "first" virus which I believe I read last year Don't know which one is first, or all refer to a single one!

    At least it is nothing like that ASP bug that was found around a year ago.....

    I believe it was called the ::$Data bug. You could view the source of ASP scripts over then net by adding ::$DATA to the file's URL.

    You could actually read any code that was served by an IIS server with that. We used Cold Fusion at my old work when the ::$DATA was found. Revealed that source nicely.

    You could also read the ASP source by adding an ending . after .asp so it would look like script.asp.
