- SitePoint: buy SitePoint, upgrade to IE message for Mozilla users, .aspx extension on the home page
- Google: out of this world jobs, Gmail--1 GB of webmail

But the bank told me I had unlimited credit... why didn't the $10 million charge go through?Card declined: Your card purchase was declined for the following reason: [W111] Declined
Please note: You can try re-entering your credit card number, but if you get this message repeatedly we recommend using a different card. SitePoint accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. If you don't have access to another credit card, we recommend that you retry your transaction using PayPal instead (see Payment Method below). If you don't have a PayPal account, signing-up takes just minutes and the credit card that we declined will almost certainly go through their system.

I don't believe GMail is a joke, mattjacob. Google recently patented their ads in email tech, and all the major news sites picked up the story...

I don't think Gmail is a fake either... Unless they chose to buy gmail.com in the process...
I guess that would mean this jokes on you..![]()

http://www.google.com/jobs/lunar_job.htmlGoogle Copernicus Center is hiring
Google is interviewing candidates for engineering positions at our lunar hosting and research center, opening late in the spring of 2007. This unique opportunity is available only to highly-qualified individuals who are willing to relocate for an extended period of time, are in top physical condition and are capable of surviving with limited access to such modern conveniences as soy lattes, The Sopranos and a steady supply of oxygen.
The Google Copernicus Hosting Environment and Experiment in Search Engineering is a fully integrated research, development and technology facility at which Google will be conducting experiments in entropized information filtering, high-density high-delivery hosting (HiDeHiDeHo) and de-oxygenated cubicle dwelling. This center will provide a unique platform from which Google will leapfrog current terrestrial-based technologies and bring information access to new heights of utility.

Actually, this doesn't sound like a bad idea

Somebody's maintaining a list here:
Sites that pulled april fools jokes for 2004
http://www.urgo.org/aprilfools.html

If Gmail is real, and everybody just in the US gets an account...
280M people * 1G/person = 280 petabytes (280,000 terabytes)
Or...if one billion people find their way online and to gmail - one exabyte.
