    That is a terrible loss. He was an incredible guy. I saw him in concert a year or two ago (I think) and it was a blast. Funny performer in addition to his musical talents.

    I saw him only once. It was at a memorial for 9/11 victims. He sang America the Beautiful. I never really thought much of him until I heard him sing that live. It was undescribably amazing.

    he used to get drunk in the quarter in new orleans and pay people to let him drive thier car up st charles late at night. the guy was classic in all ways!
