    Hello. It's me again. How do change
    the autoscroll speed. The javascript code is as follows:

    ------------------------------
    <SCRIPT Language="JAVASCRIPT">

    function scrolldown() {

    for (I=1; I<=2500; I++){

    parent.scroll(1,I)

    }

    }

    </SCRIPT>
    --------------------------------

    It is placed after the ending body tag at
    the bottom of the source page. Is there anyone out there who has a better idea?

    Thnx.

    Just curious, have you tested your autoscroll on Netscape 4.75?

    I tried to install an autoscroll script (one that had images you moused over and the text area scrolled), but had problems with Netscape 4.75. I tried several versions including ones from leading Web sites and a plug-in built into Dream Weaver. None of them worked correctly.

    Thanks for responding.
    No, I have not tested it on Navigator
    which is something I should do. It sounds like
    autoscroll is a neat trick but quirky.

    I can download Navigator for free, right?

    Whilst you are there you should downlaod some versions of a few different browsers as it is always good to have them for testing purposes!

    I did download Navigator but it has given me some problems.

    When i click on a html doc made with IE Navigator tries to open the file. Which is okay except Navigator says it needs to create a profile of my usage needs.

    i click okay (give me the profile) but the program won't allow the profile to be created. (UGH!) So I decided to stick with IE to get a big design job out the door. I'll worry about Navigator later.

    Does anybody know how to modify the javascript code to slow down the autoscroll function?

    Thanks again for your help.
