Pantone color groups??
I am a print design newbie and have a question about pantone colors.
I wonder if it is ok to use different colors from different pantone groups?
I mean if I use a color from Pantone process, can I also use another color from Pantone Coated group in same design?
Thanks in advance
the different groups represent the appearance of each color on different materials/with different printing processes.
unless you plan on printing your project on a variety of materials, it'd be best to stick to one palette.

ok thanks, then I made a mistake
So what is the usual palette for classic print process on paper?
::
Most use either Pantone 'Solid Coated' or 'Solid Matte'...
