    Confirm Box Error

    Code:
    function delBlock(index)
    {

    if (confirm("Are you sure you would like to delete this block?\n
    Doing so will permanently remove the block's contents from your learning experience!"))
       checkChange('delete&edit=editBlock&index='+index);
    }

    function delOutcome(index)
    {
    if (confirm("Are you sure you would like to delete this outcome?\n
    Doing so will permanently remove the outcome and associated strategies from your learning experience!"))
       checkChange('deleteOutcome&edit=editOutcome&outcomeIndex='+index);

    		}
    There functions are almost identical, but when using IE5.5 I notice one strange thing.

    delOutcome doesn't display ANY text, including the message or the Ok/Cancel buttons. Yet delBlock works perfectly and displays properly.

    Although delOutcome doesnt display properly, I can click where I see the non-text buttons and it will return the proper value.

    What I'm trying to figure out is if this is purely an IE5.5 error, or is there something common I may be doing causing conflicts. I've already checked for naming conflicts, and non seem to apply. Checkchange just forwards the user to a new page using the parameters listed and appends the string to the proper forwarding.

    Note: Mozilla Foxfire 0.8 displays this properly, but the user base is 90% IE5 and up.

    Just a shot in the dark...
    Code:
    function delOutcome(index)
    {
      if (confirm("Are you sure you would like to delete this outcome?\n" +
                  "Doing so will permanently remove the outcome and " +
                  "associated strategies from your learning experience!"))
        checkChange('deleteOutcome&edit=editOutcome&outcomeIndex='+index);

    }

    Thanks, it worked like a charm.

    Is there any reason why concating the strings would cause it to work properly?
    Or is it just because IE 5.5 is so unique with handling code
