I know this is likely a very stupid 1question but I thought I mgiht as well ask. Is there any way to run CF on IIS? Like a module or something?

Not that I know of. You have to have the app server installed.

Maybe I don't understand the question but I run IIS and Cold Fusion MX 6.1. The installation gives you the ability to install it standalone like its previous versions. It works well for us and we run it in several places in production. If I misunderstood the question, ignore me.

The new version (MX 6.1) has some licensing gotchas. If you have more than 2 processors you are supposed to by another license. It is licensed for 2 processors.
