Hi,
I've seen sites where they have flash which shows a loading status...waiting for the entire flash to load before playing? how do we do this?

I know in Director you can use Lingo to fetch all (or some) of the cast members to load. Also, there are some Director pre-built scripts that you can use to create the often used loading bar. Once you get the hang of Lingo, I challenge you to find a cooler way of showing the amount of content loading!
I've seen a site that uses an hourglass (one of their own, nicely done, not the hourglass cursor) and I've played around with a fractal “unfolding” as my content loads.
It's a small thing, but something that you can use to help identify your flash as cooler/more professional than others.

Hey lyn,
The best way that I can really think of doing this is to use a Flash preloader. Here's a good tutorial on how to do that.
