    Hi there,
    This is my first post at sitepoint. I have been a member a for a while and really enjoy the active community there. I have just started learning PHP/mySQL and I'm getting there so It's choice to find this spot on the net.

    I am running Apache and PHP 4 on a win95 machine.
    The scripts all work fine except I get this error quite a bit when the php scripts check the value of a variable.

    Warning: Undefined variable: blah blah at line 30

    I don't think there is a problem with the script as has happened with different scripts from different sources.

    Any Ideas?

    Hi eadz

    Look in your php.ini for the error_reporting line and set it to this:

    error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE

    Also check out the error_reporting functions in the manual, then you can modify this line to your own tastes.
