gcr v5... what do you think?

    http://www.globalcellularrental.com/v5/

it's just a single page right now, working on the layout.... got some dreamweaver mess to hack out... i'm trying to keep the code lean.

i have a table to recreate to div.

other then that, thoughts would be appreciated.

The layout looks a bit complicated to me, the page is so busy that I my eye does not really focus on anything. I am always a fan of underlined links to make navigation that much easier.

Assuming you want people to focus their attention on the plans you might want make sure they stay in the upper part of the page.

Reviewed the site in Mozilla Firefox. Looks great. I know you mentioned you only have one page. Are you going to keep the main navigation menu on the left for all the other pages for consistency? I think the layout of the site is pretty good.

    Exclamation Proper URL - http://www.globalcellularrental.com/onetravel.php?netid=777

oops... some time has passed.... this is the actual site to be reviewed...

    http://www.globalcellularrental.com/onetravel.php?netid=777

ithis is actually a mini site for this deal they have with a partner. the rest of the .com/ site will soon have this look as well. i tried to go with lean code, tight css.

be sure to check out the cellular plans... used a little JS with my CSS for a neat info tucked away look and displayed as needed.

    thanks for your comments.

Seems a little dark to me by having header and side panels black. Not really a good color choice for e-commerce.

The tex treatment "OneTravel.com" is overdone losing it's effectiveness. You don't need every instance of One colored red in the copy.

You have some text links that are bold red and then you have some text that is not a link that is bold and red. This is confusing.

    I'm on IE6, on XP.

Looks alright. I agree that it is a touch overcrowded. The text links you used for the nav are great, as SE's'll pick them up fantastically.

The strongest part (in my opinion) is the content area. It's clean, easy to read and easy to scan. I really like it.

In your vertical bar, I'd put more space between elements. It'll give everything more breathing room there.

The "Call us..." bit... I'd rather see it as a header image in the main content area. That'll clean up your actual header, and give everything room to breathe.

It's good though. I go there, I know what you're about, and I know (generally) where I have to click

    Good job.

The menu links especially on the left are muddled, by that I mean they don't seem to pop out they just seem to be there. Gray on Gray seems to be part of it. Needs a little sprucing up.

It seems ok, but it also looks cluttered in my opinion. Rest is good though.

its nice, but I would take out somethings its deff. too Busy.
when I look at it it just is very distracting. There are too many images for me to look at. This takes my attention off of the main focus of the site.

do you think removing the header up top would help? or removing the header image and sliding the call now over to hug the right side?

or is it the content that is too busy?

i don't want people clicking around... i want them to call directly from seeing this page.

so 1 - select what kind of phone you need, 2 - select where you are going and 3 - see the package and call now.

if anyone has ideas on making this flow better.... i'm all ears.
