    Netscape under iMac

I've had a point made on the newsletter I send to a mailing list. This newsletter is well read with Internet Explorer 4.x and up but I had this mail sent by a user:

Dear Newsletter people: I love the new layout. It's easier to spot what I need to know. BUT, you're still sending some symbol that doesn't translate except as &ndash. And it shows up frequently. I quote: A Public Mural Project – U I have pasted in another problem: ALSO, DON’T FORGET to mark your calendar! Can you fix these? I'm receiving it on a iMac, system 9. and my provider is Netscape, if any of that is relevant.

Any ideas why is this? You may see the link at: http://www.pawtucketartscollaborativ...r/04-02-22.htm

    Thanks in advance,
    Marcelo

Change – to and see if that helps.

    Edit:

I meant & #8211; (no space between the ampersand and the hash symbol)

If I do that I won't be using HTML code (contrary to what standards say).

    Is there another solution?
