    Hi all, let me describe my situation to you...
    I have a webpage, and am making some changes to it, however I do not want to lose the traffic I am getting. To alleviate this situation, I want to utilize the mailing list manager that my web host provides, ideally what I would like is some javascript/form that consists of just a box that the user can place their email address in, and have a preset subject, click submit, and have their names added to the list. Any help, or actual code that I can edit would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time. Neil

    Hi,

    The subject should be set within the mailing list.

    If you want users to send email based on the subject, here's the code:

    <a href="email@domain.com?subject=Subject Titlte">E-Mail me with Subject :: Subject Title</a>

    I think the actual code would depend on the type of the mailing list manager and any instructions your host has given you on how to use it.

    Assuming it's a straight forward "Send email to be added to the list" then a email link should do the trick.

    Great, thanks for the replies, I actually ended up finding a javascript that took care of the problem, but thanks for your quick responses. Neil
