    PowerPoint Presentation in new window

    I have recently written a page to access MS PowerPoint presentations. However, when you click the link and it opens a new window with the presentation, it doesn't fill the new window on the sides. Does anyone know of any option to get the presentation to fill the window? It would look much cleaner if it did. I don't want to go full screen with it, I just want it to fill the window.

    Here's the code I'm using...

    <HTML>
    <BODY>
    <CENTER>
    <H1>PowerPoint Presentations</H1>
    </CENTER>
    <TABLE CELLPADDING="40">
    <TD VALIGN="top">
    <IMG SRC="Logo.jpg" TITLE="CompanyName" />
    </TD>
    <TD>
    <H2>Day 1</H2>
    <P><A HREF="file1.ppt" target=_BLANK>presentation1</A></P>
    <P><A HREF="file2.ppt" target=_BLANK>presentation2</A></P>
    </TD>
    </TABLE>
    </BODY>
    </HTML>

    Hello

    Is this a javascript pop up window that you can control the size of? Or just a new window? Can you post a link to it so we can take a look.

    Why not add a JavaScript if you don't already have one. Try:

    <script language="JavaScript">
    function winPp(desktopURL){
    desktop =window.open(desktopURL,"name","toolbar=no,location=no,status=no,menubar=no,scrollbars=no,width=500,height=425,resizable=no");
    }
    </script>

    Just change the sizes until you get it perfect.

    To link to the PowerPoint use:

    <a href="javascript:winPp('powerpoint-presentation.pps');">Click here</a>

    Hope this helps.

    I can't really send a link to it, because it's going to be a local web page that's displayed from a CD with the presentations loaded on that CD.

    I was kind of hoping I could do it without JavaScript just because I don't know it that well and don't program that often to really learn it well. Once I get it to fill the browser window, if they reisize the window, will it still fill the browser, or will the browser window have to stay the same size?

    Thanks for the code, I'll try that and see if it will work for me.
