    Justify a text

    Guys, when i justify a text on the Dreamweaver, ordinarily the whole text stay with a lot of space between the words... what could i do to minimize it?

    No way to change it as the text are forced justified. Maybe you can hypenate it... but if your text are not fixed sized then hypenation won't work so well.

    If you want to set a maximum width on your main content, you can do this by adding a new CSS rule : "#content { max-width: 36em; }".

    Although IE browsers will ignore this rule, other standards compliant browsers will not allow the content area to go wider that 36em - keeping the line length to a comfortable width.

    The ­ entity is a soft icon, only appearing when necessary to break a line. However older browsers might display the hyphen all the time, I seem to remember running into this a while ago.

    It could have been NN4, so if you support that browser, watch out for this.
