paying via paypal

I'm having some trouble with paypal - they say I can pay via credit card in their 'help center'. But I'm not seeing any options, and need to pay for some goods using my credit card through paypal.

Click the Funding Options link under the 'Source of Funds' heading

There isn't a link though - and it also tells me funds can be added to my account using a credit card, however when I click the add funds link there's no option, only the option to add from a bank account which is disabled because I'm in Australia.

A little weird - the account is an "Australian Business Account" btw.

I think if you goto send the money to the person you want to send to it will see you haven't got enough in your account and allow you to upload some from card.

I can't see an option here to just move money into your account though.

That's correct.

You can try it yourself - just send more than your current balance, and you'll see the options. Of course, you don't need to complete the transaction

Thats a wierd way to handle it. I would think paypal would be a little more intuitive... ie) be able to add money before you try to send more then youve got..

Oh well...I guess they need something to improve on

When making a payment, PayPal will first use the funds in your account. If you do not have sufficient funds, you will be able to use a bank account (US) or credit card.
