Quite funny - Open letter to employers

I came across this and found it quite amusing. Its a job requirements list.

    Hi

I saw one like this in the UK a few months back, a REAL advert that is. I laughed quite a bit and then rang the guy up. Would you believe he was looking to pay just over minimum wage for a young person? About 20-21 he thought.

    I did (eventually) stop laughing.

    The guy was quite upset.

He will be if he hires anyone who actually formally responds to the ad.

I've seen a lot of ads that I've thought they were being fairly unreasonable in their expectations, but that one takes the cake.

The only way that ad could be fulfilled is if they are hiring someone that comes with their own staff behind them. Even then, they aren't likely to get all of that in one package.

    Thanks for the laugh!

That's great. The best is when they offer that person who managed to fit most of those requirements nine whole dollars an hour with one 30 min break a day. Must provide own parking and uniform. Must also listen to boss drone on about how he thinks the color of the web site should be blue, and some flash "stuff" would be great. I really love sittting in on marketing meetings with people wondering why your site doesn't come up Number 1 for "web design" on google when you launched your site 3 days ago.

I am a Freelance Designer ... at least I got to pick the color of my uniform.

I love my job, its only been 6 days, but I get to sit in on client meetings, watch how really good developers work, have about as much Microsoft software at my disposal (at work of course) because the company is a MS partner and to top it off, I get to basically wear what I want, to an extent. I hate wearing jeans, but if I wanted to, I could People come to work in t - shirts and cargos. I am trying to present myself in a nice fashion though, so I often wear khackies and a nice sweater. It still beats a business suit

Some employers are just dumbasses. I could almost imagine this ad being put together by my recent ex-employer in fact
