    Boy really not sure, does your user have permissions to read those dbs? I tried creating a regular user to recreate your problem and I tried your command on a database for which I wasn't user and I got an eror but a different one so sorry can't help

    Got this right after I got my 256 MB RAM upgrade for my Raq3. Does that mean anything??

    Are the directories that you list in existance? Check /path_to_mysql/var and do an ls to see if it's the perms that are wrong or they got deleted.

    Hello again,

    Please take a look at http://www.bollynet.com/html/. I'm getting this error: 1017: Can't find file: './bollynet/stories.frm' (errno: 13).

    What are we looking for on that page?

    From your error message, MySQL is unable to access the contents of the directories in your MySQL data directory. Check those folders' permissions.
