    Hiding images in Firebird

    Is there a way to turn images off in Firebird. I want to do this for testing purposes

    I'll have to check out the web developers extension. Right now I keep my extensions to a minimum as I have to keep blowing them away when I grab one of the nightly updates. I here v0.8 will be official this next week or so.

    I can't wait until Firbird makes it to v1.0 and is no longer in "beta". I think when that happens, it will slay Mozilla and Opera. With the right publicity, it could make a few percentage points against MSIE.

    I dream of the day when vendors can't force MSIE and ActiveX down our throats for corporate web apps and hosted "web app" solutions.

    oh, so if you update your firebird, it erases your extensions! If so, thats a bug if I have ever heard of one

    No updating doesn't errase the extensions unless you tell it to. Since Firebird is in beta, they advise that one tells Firebird to erase extensions to prevent potential conflicts. I don't like conflicts. If I have a clean install I know I can eliminate that out if I have a problem.
