    Hi,

I wonder could someone give me a little advice, I want to submit a website to the search engines....would it matter that my e-mail address is different from the website domain name, would the search engines accept the submission.

Hi and welcome to SitePoint Alan.

You already know my opinion on it through email but for the benefit of everyone else:

I really don't think it would make a difference that you had a different email address. I very much doubt that most search engines actually use them, the only time I could ever see anyone seeing your email address is when you add your site to a directory such as Yahoo! or the Open Directory.

No, a different e-mail address doesn't matter. In fact, if you are using an auto-submitter to get listed on 50 billion engines, directories, FFA lists etc, set up a separate e-mail account to contain the thousands of chuffy auto-responder e-mails you'll get sent for the next year or so.
Submit to the top ten engines manually, and on second thoughts never submit to FFA lists as they are spam-pits. They don't help ranking anyway.
