    Arrow Css border?

I am just wondering if you guys think a colum/table looks better if it has a css border around it. Like the phpbb styles all have borders and I think they look pretty good what do you guys think?

    Hi,

I think a border looks better without a table inside it (just joking).

Do you have a specific layout in mind or just generally? I assume you're talking about the outer border that css puts around the tables just outside the normal table border.

I can't say that I've thought a lot about it. Maybe if you had a layout to show then I could give an opinion in that situation .

Not much of an answer - I know

It really depends on the table and the rest of your page. For data tables I tend to give the table headers a different background color and give a very light (#cccccc usually) border to the table and its cells.
