Help Needed! Sending HTML and Text Emails

Hi.

I'm trying to send an email out that has both
the html & text version of itself so that people
who cannot view HTML will see the text instead.

The following is the code.. my problem is, when
the email goes out, it goes out as a blank
email and with a single attachment that has
both the HTML & Text version of the email.

It is IMHO not possible to have types of a mail in one. Normally newsletters let you chose between text or HTML (Sitepoint, Yahoo).
