paste an orange?
Hi guys.
I am quite new to flash an am having great fun and happy with my results so far but one question keeps limiting my creativety:
-How do i import/paste just one little selection from a photoshop pic?
I have got this picture with a whole lot of fruit but want just the orange in my animation.
Whatever i try i always get a white frame/canvas around it in flash.
deleting the background does not help.
It can not be that hard i supose? Do i have to work with masks or transparent backgrounds or schould it be done via illustrator?
Thanks a lot in advance.

I'm not a guru, but I'll try to help you.
You can do it in a few steps. First, cut precisely your orange and paste it to a new photoshop document. Set its background to transparent (or try save for web -> gif-> transparent). If you have a one-color background in your animation, you can set the background color in photoshop to it. I hope it works

yes, tranparent gif or png is the answer, unless you mask it in flash with another object/colour.

Well, as far as I know, you can't edit an imported image in Flash (except from changing the color if made as an MC).
