What online or offline resources would you recommend? I am adding ecommerce functionality to an existing site and want to tranfer it to database-driven.

    Thanks in advance,

Online: http://www.webmasterbase.com/article.php?aid=228&pid=0 (that is a must)

Offline: Professional PHP from Wrox, and Programming PHP from O'Reilly

I would read PHP4 Programming from Wrox and the Programming PHP book from O'Reilly. Online, your best source is http://www.php.net

Also go do devshed.com's PHP section, then look for the 5 part PHP 101 tutorial, they explains the stuff really well, easy to understand. I find them a lot easier on the brain then some of the others.
