i'm having deep problems with photoshop 6. everything seems so overflooded. too much features! i cannot find what i'm searching for. I just want to change something with the dump paint bucket tool. I have a selection which I have smoothen by a radius of 6... and then I take this tool and fill it with a color, but everything is filled with exactly this color without any smoothen edges and corners. I tried to change the feather to 1px, but this is not the solutions which I know for sure. i have checked anti-alias but doesn't help.. the color mode is RGB...

    what's the problem?!

You'll run into that problem with almost all graphic programs. The one thing you can try is running the SHARPEN EDGES filter, though I don't really think that will help.

Maybe it's because your using a Mac. Just Kidding. Actually, double click the paint bucket tool and a property tab should pop up called "Paint Bucket Options". Make sure "Anti-aliased" is checked.
