chained ssl?

Hi, I am looking at getting an ssl certificate for my site and www.ev1servers.net are offering a 'chained ssl' certificate for $19.95 and a 'GeoTrust SSL' certificate for $49.95.

What is the difference, I don't know alot about SSL all I want is my site to be able to be accessed from httpS://www.... and not have any problems and be totally secure.

What do i need to get?

dont know about those guys, but i have bought several ssl certs through comodo really cheap. http://www.comodogroup.com
