    hello,

    with Photoshop 6 I would like to create images which look similar to the ones on the sitepoint.com front page. the ones with the faces of the authors. any idea how to filter out the colors, so the image appears in this khaki (or any other) color? I mean it's not full colored....

    It's pretty simple to make a color image gray, actually. Just do the following:

    1) Open the image.

    2) Go to IMAGE > MODE > GRAYSCALE.

    That's about it. Also, you can change the tint of an image by doing the following:

    1) Open the image.

    2) Select the layer.

    4) Go to LAYER > NEW LAYER ADJUSTMENT > You'll find lots of cool thing in there.
