I am developing a site that needs to function very similar to the site at this link.

    http://www.greatwarranties.com/rq.html

I need the user to enter year / make-model / mileage and be able to return info that tells them how much the service is, based on that input. it appears this site is using a database and a cgi script.

I haven't done this type of work before and need (in plain english please!) some thoughts on how I can pull this together fairly quickly and with limited expense.

Thanks in advance for the help!

This may or may not be using a database.

They could simply be passing the variables to the next page and putting them through some sort of formula, I dont know, I suppose you do though.

If to figure out what you want you need information other than what the person entered into the form then you do need a DB.

If you dont. If you just need to take what they entered and enter it into a formula then you don't need a DB.
