    CSS & Forms - extending height of a dropdown menu!

    Hi All,

    I've got a drop down menu @ http://www.nerdcore.net/~jaeden/! I really don't like how a little scrollbar -within- the dropdown menu appears after a certain number of items are added to the menu. This is pretty much your basic forms drop down menu with a little bit of CSS style added...

    Anyone know how to extend the height of the dropdown menu to allow as many items to be added, sans scrollbar, as needed?

    Code related to drop down menu:

    form {
    position: absolute;
    top: 60px;
    left: 20px;
    border: 1px solid #000000;
    padding: 5px;
    width: 150px;
    }
    select {
    font-size: 10px;
    color: #000000;
    background: #B0C4DE;
    width: 138px;
    }

    &

    <form name="Menu">
    <select name="Menu" onChange="location=document.Menu.Menu.options[document.Menu.Menu.selectedIndex].value;">
    <option>example</option>
    <option>example</option>
    <option>example</option>
    <option>example</option>
    <option>example</option>
    <option>example</option>
    <option>example</option>
    <option>example</option>
    </select>
    </form>

    Thanks guys!
    - Jae

    Hi,

    AFAIK this is an OS thing and can't be changed.

    In IE6 (win xp) I get 30 items before a scrollbar appears.

    Mozilla allows about 20 items
    IE5/5.5 allow 11.

    Paul
