    php code editor

hey all - love these forums wish i knew more to be more active but i'm still learning

I am just getting into php and trying to learn it because i'm off of work for the holiday's i've always in the past done everything in HTML and know there are alot of editors like frontpage and others out there for that, but is there anything for php to where you can preview the file you are working on to see if it is working or what bugs maybe included? I have some forms in php i want to change and edit their styles but having troubling doing it blindly

    thanks in advance

    Hi.

PHPEdit supports this and HTMLKit too, I believe.

I think we got threads with list of PHP editors, try searching for them. I would recommend installing a local WAMP (Windows Apache MySQL PHP) anyway.

Winsyntax doesnt allow you to run the php script, but its a great liteweight program. PHPEdit is good
