I was wondering if there was a way to add a url to a users favourites list, automatically without any prompting.
Not that I would want to use it for my site, just out of curiousity =)

As far as I know, the answer is "Nope." You have to prompt a user before you can add a site to the Favorite's list. I think this is great because I don't want my favorite's list cluttered with non-favorite sites.

even if it DID work, a small prmpt window would still come up. this is the one where the user decides where in their list to place you or which folder or even rename the site to something else.
(at least thats what it does in MSIE 5.01)
