    Shopping Time spent during Holidays

Ok not to brag, but I just did all my holiday shopping and got it done in less than two hours including the driving time. I got:

    -One jacket.
    -Two JC Penney Gift certificates.
    -A couple of ties.
-Drove to the bank and withdrew some money (crisp new bills) for the ones getting cash.

The merchandise was 50% off so I think I got a bargain, but even so shopping is something I do not like to do at all. The most time I spent was in line to pay and driving between the store and the bank.

In total I guess I spend an hour or two, because 90% of my shopping is done on Amazon (everyone seems to want books, CDs, DVDs etc these days).

But this is spaced out over a period of about a week. And yes, I still owe a couple of people presents from last year

Started at 9:30, finished at noon, so about 2.5 hours. I love Sawgrass Mills .

I thought you lived in Orlando? You drove all the way down to Broward? I went to the International Mall in West Dade.... I have only been to Sawgrass four times and try to avoid going to it... too far and too many people.

I don't mind shopping, in fact I enjoy buying presents for others. What I hate is other shoppers. I'm always stuck behind the people that have got all day to wander about at a snails pace and get in everyones way. It really annoys me

Four hours in Nottingham was enough for me. Isn't shopping easy when you don't have a woman dragging you around? *ducks*

I do live in Orlando, but my family lives in Pembroke Pines. I'm here visiting until Thursday . It's usually packed to the gills with tourists, but yesterday was pretty quiet for being 5 days before Christmas. Maybe I got there too early.

I am with you Sean... It isn't the shopping that annoys me as I usually know what I want before I go to the stores. However it is the other shoppers, who don't have a clue about not only what to buy but even what store they want to go into, that annoy me.

Overall, I suspect I spent about 80-90 hours doing research then a total of 3-4 hours actually shopping but that is 15 minutes here, 15 minutes there.

Sounds like my shopping habits, only I try to get everything at once. It usually works out pretty well .

Harder to do large bulk purchases of things when you have kids with you all the time for one reason or another.
