    Hi!

I wanna create some usic my using my PC. So I'm wondering what music software you are using. I mean the software that is used for creating music, not for editing it.

Fruity Loops is pretty cool with so many options that you can get lost.
Its also expensive but I think its the best out there.
But if you really want to create some good music, plug your synthesizer in your PC & start playing/recording.

Then use some software like SoundForge to edit your music or add effects. You can also use Fruity Loops to edit your music, add effects etc.

WHat type of music are you looking to create? Are you wanting to create your own samples using only a computer, or will you be recording some intruments too? I use Cubase to record myself, if you then want to do sound production you need to move to something like Reason.

Or for the new FruityLoops, FLstudio I've got it and it's pretty good, haven't played with it in a while though but it's great software!

Well, I'm actually a complete newbie in such things. I just want to create some music, I'm thinking of buying a synthesizer or a guitar, by the way, can you recommend me some sites devoted to these things?

You should never buy a musical instrument over the Internet unless you have tried the exact model beforehand and you know which one you are buying. If you are buying a guitar go and play with it in the shop first.

Fruity Loops is OK but it is quite ameuterish and can make your music sound so. I recommend Cubase.

    I have the following:
Acid by Sonic Foundry - is a little expensive but it's one of the best.
You might wanna look at Cakewalk too- This is popular for guitarists!
    Hope these helps!

Acid Pro and Fruity Loops are awesome programs. I like to mix music that I record of myself playing with Cool Edit Pro.

If it's a guitar you're buying then FLstudio isn't the program for you It's more trance-style and although you can get guitar loops, it's nowhere near as good as the real thing.
