I was wondering if anyone could recommend some of the most current published design books that are out there. Basically for inspiration and theory.
www.PaulAndre.com : My experimental photography site.
www.NewMediaFirm.com : Low cost new media website design.
www.bFlyers.com : Low cost business flyer design and print.
www.iRevModels.com : Super import car models.

I have the perfect recommendation: The Web Design WOW! Book by Jack Davis - the same guy who helped make the Photoshop 5/5.5 WOW! Book. You can use the link below for more information as well as links to some other design books...

I highly recommend a book entitled Web Design: The Complete Reference by Thomas Powell. Excellent book and well worth the price.

Ady, those are not design books. You have only posted 4 times in these forums and all four of your posts have been to link to your site!

As to a Design Book, I highly recommend:

Secrets of Successful Websites by David Siegel

Angel.....As menace asked for inspiration and "theory" I thought he might find some of the books useful. In particular i found "Designing web usability: The practice of simplicity" by Jakob Nielson very useful.
As regards using a link to a page on my site that has book reviews specifically for webmasters that I thought Menace might find of interest then I apologise for any offence.

Ady no worries, you just have to be careful of linking to affilaite programs that earn you money as no advertising of any kind is allowed int he forums. As to Jakob Nielsen's book, I do have it and find it quite useful, although a lot of what he says he has rambled on about before in other publications.
