    List Navigation IE hover Quirks

    I have a new site using UL lists and CSS for some rollowver type effects, loosely based on the Listatorial site. On IE 5,6 there is some "jiggle" on the mouseover which I am guessing are the box model issue and I aim to address shortly.

    There is another issue harder to nail down- on IE5 always, and IE 6 usually, a mouseover on the top set of links on the left side seems to obscure the text content to the right, although scrolling down and back clears it up. It seems to only happen on the first page:

    http://www.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/fipp/

    And the content disappearing happens either when the page loads or on hovering over any of the links in the first set.

    To separate NetScape 4, I have a linked CSS:
    http://www.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/fipp/style/basic.css

    and one @import-ed:
    http://www.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/fipp/style/modern.css

    I really need to sort this one out soon! It seems to be only on the first page. Help!!

    Hey thanks, I actually found that Googling today. the approach that worked was putting in my CSS
    line-height: 1.4em;

    on the div that contained the content and the float-- it required adding a few
    line-height:normal;

    for some classes inside that div.

    I had isolated to pages where I tried to break a right floated image.
